*Describing a Person_Revised*

Excuse me. Could you do me a favor? My friend and I are traveling in this country, but now we are separated. And I have to find her. Her name is Patty, Patty Yao. She is five feet three inches and weigh one hundred and twenty-three pounds five. Besides, she is about seventeen years old. In addition, her skin is white, just like new moon; plus, her cheeks are baby pink. Moreover, she has big pure black eyes as ink and rose pink lips. Her hair is straight, shoulder-length, and black yet little of it is gray. Especially, a handful of left side of her hair is dyed wine red. She was dressed in white shirt and magenta plaid skirt when the last time I saw her. Last, her voice sounds gentle and like a nightingale. Have you seen such a girl? If so, please tell me where you see her. My cell phone number is 0988-189-273.

*Comparing-2*

In history, John Adams and Thomas Jefferson are two man whose backgrounds are nearly identical. Although John was born on October 19th, 1735 while Thomas was born on April 13th, 1743, they both died on July 4th, 1926. And similarly, they played important role in American Revolution. Likewise, both of them were delegates to the Continental Congress. Additionally, John and Thomas are alike in being the president of United States. Finally, John studied and practiced law, and so did Thomas. It is so interesting that we can find four similar features between two men.

*Comparing-1*

What amazing when you find the information on driver licenses of two people are almost the same, such as Stephanie Brooks and Ann Friedman. First, Stephanie was born on July 31st, 1970. Likewise, Ann was born on July 31st, 1970. In addition, the color of Stephanie’s eyes is similar to that of Ann’s, is brown. Moreover, both Stephanie and Ann have a black hair. Even more, Stephanie is as high as Ann. It is hard to believe that there are two driver licenses which information is alike except the name.

*Giving Reasons-A Song That Means a Lot to Me*

“Take these wings” is such a beautiful song that I was deeply moved on hearing it at the chorus.
“I found a sparrow…Her life I knew would soon be at an end….she said, ‘My friend, take these wings and learn to fly….’” In the first paragraph, the sparrow which is going to die wants to devote what she possesses to the human. I admire her nobility for it’s difficult for us to give even we know that we can’t be the owner. As for the refrain, “‘Take these eyes and learn to see, all the things so dear to me. Take these songs…fill your voice with all the joys of spring….’” Although she is on the verge of dying, she still tries to teach people to treasure what we hold. Tiny as eyes or songs, we should appreciate their existence. Moreover, we should cherish everything we have and make the best use of it as well. “I found another sparrow…whose life had just begun….I smiled at him and said, ‘My son, take these wings….’” The spirit of rebirth and the chain of love really appeal to me. I realize that there is always laughter following behind the sorrow, which inspires me to stay joyful as suffering the pain.
I was touched not only by the elegant music but also by the spirit inside it. And I also learned a lot from the sweet lyrics.
